(Please note that most of these measurements are guestimates, we never measure accurately when baking bread)

1 large egg
size scoop of crisco shortening

1/2 cup brown
sugar
|

2 heaping Tbsps
molasses
|
|
4 tsp salt
|
|
4 cups boiling
water
|
|
2 cups milk
|
|
6 Tbsps fermipan
yeast, mixed with 4 cups of all-purpose flour

Enough whole
wheat flour to make a medium stiff dough
|
the liquids just before adding the flours.
(This recipe is for a large crowd, or large family)
| 9 cups white flour | 4 cups sugar |
| 1 Tbsp salt | 1 - 2 Tbsp vanilla |
| 4 Tbsp baking powder | 1 1/2 cups oil |
| 6 cups blueberries | 3 cups milk |
| 6 whole eggs | (using powdered skim milk saves) |
| 1/2 lb melted margarine |
You can substitute chocolate chips for the blueberries (just don't use quite as many)

| 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour | 1 egg |
| 1/2 cup sugar | 1/4 cup milk |
| 3 tsp baking powder | 1/4 cup cooking oil |
| 1/2 tsp salt | 3/4 cup shredded apple |
Method
| 2 eggs | 1 tsp salt |
| 3 cups warm water | 2 Tbsp Fermipan yeast |
| 6 Tbsp sugar | (dry yeast) |
| 6 Tbsp oil | 7 - 8 cups all-purpose flour |
Gradually mix in remaining flour kneading
as you add until it becomes a medium-soft consistency.
Bake 350º for 15-18 minutes.
